I’ve decided to stray a little from the usual lesbian or and toy porn topics today, as my long time favourite adult video site (with downloadable hardcore DVDs) has gotten a couple of very noticable upgrades about a month ago that are definately worth mentioning. There’s a neat little counter below the message showing how many minutes remain until the next scene is added – so if you’re really starved for porn you can spend way too much time staring at that countdown, waiting to see what’s coming next (no, why on Earth would you think I do that? ).

In less than a month the collection of downloadable DVDs at VideoBox has grown to a whopping 753 as of today – and at this pace they will be ahead of the still largest direct competitor, VideosZ, in just a few months. And obviously the monthly membership price at VideoBox remains entirely unbeatable at $9.95 a month (and for that you can download movies 24 hours a day if you like).

The other big news is that for five bucks extra a month you now have the option of downloading all recent and future scenes in full DVD resolution (don’t know if they will go back and add that option to all the old movies).
720×480, 3500 kbit versus the regular “high” download option at 480×352, 650-800 kbit. The latter is fairly decent, but after having taken a look at the new DVD option I’m definately gonna stick with my upgraded membership.
The DVD quality files are pretty huge though as you would expect – around 400 to 500 Megabytes, so I’ll probably only be downloading my favourites in that quality.

Running a review site is an excellent excuse to explore new terrority, such as rubber and latex clad superbabes at Fetish by Anna, a site I’ll be reviewing early next week, or the extremely interesting world of BDSM – an entirely new area for me.

If you’ve ever paid the unique and pretty extreme toy site Fuckingmachines a visit (my review here), you have probably noticed that dark, damp dungeon settings and bondage elemements are relatively common elements in their videos.
No wonder really, as Cybernet Entertainment, the company behind the site, also has a lineup of BDSM sites, each with a special theme.

I guess I must have been more horny than usual that night two weeks ago, because I joined five of them within ten minutes – Hogtied, Wired Pussy, Whipped Ass, Water Bondage and Sex and Submission – and the old “it’s just for review purposes” probably wouldn’t hold up in trial .

So why am I writing about BDSM sites here at Babes and Toys? Because a few of the sites are based entirely or almost entirely on lesbian domination. And it’s hot. Very, very hot. Even for a complete newbie to the niche like me.

Water Bondage, Wired Pussy and Whipped Ass all have a load of lesbian shoots (like on Fuckingmachines each update comes with around 30-50 minutes of video and around 150-200 pics). The last two sites are entirely based on girl/girl action in fact, with 211 and 286 scenes respectively.

Going into details here would make this post overly long (not that that usually stops me ), so I recommend you pay a visit to the sites instead. You can browse through all the updates dating back to day one (that goes for all the Cybernet Entertainment sites).

I’ll be reviewing all the five sites (Hogtied and Sex and Sex and Submission included as well) by the end of next week at Mike’s Porn Site Reviews, but I’ve spent quite a lot of time with them already and very much enjoyed what I’ve seen, so it’s probably safe to say that the total scores for most of them will end up in the 85-90 range.

If I had to pick just one site as my one and only favourite I would have to say… well, that I couldn’t . But a very likely candidate would have to be VideoBox.

I’ve now had my membership running for nine months straight (it’s only ten bucks a month so I haven’t even bothered to cancel in the few months where I haven’t visisted regularly), and during that time their collection of downloadable DVDs (licensed from popular porn studios) has grown from around 300 to 600 with last night’s addition.
Needless to say you’ll be very hard pressed to find better value for your money on any other porn site if a healthy mix of more than 30 hardcore porn niches and hundreds of more or less well known pornstars is what you’re after.

The topics here at Babes and Toys mainly cover lesbian, masturbation and, yep, you’re right, toys.
VideoBox has you covered quite well in those areas with currently 214 lesbian scenes, 130 masturbation scenes and 362 that include toys in one form or another (obviously overlapping with some of the content from the other two categories).

While I must admit that I generally turn to sites like Club Sandy, FTV Girls, Sapphic Erotica and other sites with high quality exclusive content for those niches, VideoBox certainly doesn’t disappoint here.
And if you don’t like their lesbian and toy sections you can always dig into their interracial porn, gangbangs, blowjobs, latinas, squirting orgasms and lots of other stuff that should keep any hardcore porn fan entertained for a very long while.
And then there’s of course still a new DVD coming every day.

VideosZ might take the lead in terms of sheer volume, closing in quickly on one thousand downloadable DVDs, but at $9.95 VideoBox is no doubt the single best porn value deal on the Internet. And despite the low price tag (which they no doubt make up for because people tend to find it so cheap they stay members longer than would on other sites – clever marketing trick ) they aren’t going skimpy on neither site design, search features or video quality (a very decent 480×352, 600-900 kbit).

I promised you (hey, didn’t I start my last post that way as well? Gotta stop with all those promises) that I would take a closer look at the large three part (six part really, as it consists of three videos and three photosets) New Year update at Club Sandy, and so I have – all 69 wonderful minutes of it, plus flipping through a good part of the 500+ high resolution photos.

I’m going to stray entirely from the usual topics here at Babes and Toys tonight, but since this is a blog where I share my own porn interests afterall, I guess I’m entitled to take that liberty .

Just like I do pretty much every night around this time (4 am in this corner of the world) I was checking out the latest update at VideoBox to see if it was worth downloading, and while VideoBox has never been afraid to experiment with hardcore movies a little out of the ordinary (the ordinary being the usual smatter of anal, gangbangs, interracial, blowjobs, lesbian, latina and a bunch of other popular niches) the DVD they added today was certainly of a type I have not seen before on any of my favourite adult video sites – animated hardcore porn.

Pornomation has both excellently animated 3D porn (we’re not quite talking Hollywood blockbuster standard here , but you can definately see that many hours were put into especially the first 20 minute scene) as well as some hand drawn animations.

I know a movie like this is a curiosity at best, and fans of animated porn (I have a nice collection of erotic comics myself – and I’m a big fan of computer generated art in general, but I’ve never really looked much into animation yet) will of course look to other sites to satisfy those interests, but it’s still nice to see that even a hardened porn fan like me can still get a pleasant surprise once in a while. And VideoBox certainly manages to deliver that on a fairly regular basis.

For anyone interested in knowing what the increasingly busy life of porn fan/adult webmaster knee deep in Internet porn is like, here’s summary of what I’m trying to juggle at the moment with regards to porn site memberships .

About three weeks ago I rejoined three of my all time favourite sites – Danni.com, Club Sandy and FTV Girls. I’ve written about those regularly ever since I launched Babes and Toys back in March and when writing about their latest content updates I prefer to actually have seen those videos and photosets rather than just assuming they fit their usual high standards (which they almost always do, but it’s still nice to be able to spill the dirty details now and then).
Other than trying to live up to my duty as a self proclaimed porn journalist I can’t entirely claim that I’m not in it for the entertainment value as well .
I expect to keep those three memberships active for the months to come as I still consider those three sites some of the absolute hottest in the niches I write about here at Babes and Toys.

In case you missed it I’ve also spent quite some time downloading videos like a madman from the many solo girl and hardcore sites included in The BrainPass network which I joined about a week ago.
The other day I posted a full review of the BrainPass network in its entirety – final score, a well deserved 96/100.

I’ve also been checking out another adult video site this month – MpegMovieHeaven. Not quite up to scratch with some of its competitors with regards to features (search, sorting etc.), but they have a ton of very interesting videos as so I’ve been pretty pleased with them.
And they keep growing with around 15-20 new scenes every week as well.

My VideosZ membership expired a couple of weeks ago, but with no less than 861 downloadable DVDs and new ones coming every day they definately haven’t seen me for the last time.

As I wrote in this post, I joined the BrainPass site network a few days ago, and I’ve practically been up to my neck in video content over the weekend .
