I gotta come clean about something. For a guy who rarely spends more than five minutes in the photo archives when I join a paysite, but rather head straight for the video sections and stay buried there until the membership expires, I sure as hell don’t throw a whole lot of sample videos your way here at Babes and Toys .

I think I’ll start to work on that, but it is a fact of course that while it’s probably not exactly a well guarded secret that the web is brimming with free photo content (although the photos are often cut down in size and you may get 10 or 20 pics in a set instead of the original hundred or so), you’re pretty much stuck with down-sized 30 second movie samples unless you join a paysite.

While that sucks of course, I’ve certainly enjoyed 95% of the paysite memberships I’ve had over the last two years tremendously – and it’s been quite a few, especially over the last few months where I’ve had several running at the same time (I have no less than six going at the moment – partly of course because I’m working on a review site).
Somehow afterall, these sites gotta pay for the costs of hiring models, web designers, and not least all the bandwidth you use up like there’s no tomorrow when you download all these 200 Mb videos . And that ain’t exactly cheap.
Actually it never ceases to amaze me how many of them can actually make things go around when they give you for instance several hundred downloadable DVDs for 10 to 30 bucks a month (VideoBox and VideosZ for instance).

While there are certainly still plenty of crappy and/or very small sites out there, there’s also a large bunch of really good ones where the video sections holds sometimes several hundred hours of video entertainment. That goes for most of the sites I choose to write about here at Babes and Toys for instance.
