Besides being more secure than Internet Explorer either one of them will enhance your browsing experience a lot with a ton of shortcuts and functions to make everything easier and faster.
Personally I have been a fan of Opera the last three years and I would take it over Firefox any day - unfortunately it’s not free unless you can live with integrated banner ads. But take your pick and see if IE is not worth trashing 98% of the time.

I have mentioned once before that I plan to write reviews of my favourite sites and post them here, so those of you who may be interested in seeing all the fun for yourself may read the most important details before you dive into you wallets for your credit cards.
